Summary
Joe Nannini is the Director of Dual Credit Initiatives at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno. He is responsible for providing leadership and support to all stakeholders in the University’s Dual Credit efforts including students, families, high school teachers, University faculty, and school district leadership. Joe’s experience in K-12 education as a teacher and school administrator combined with his work teaching and leading Clinical Experiences for the College of Education and Human Development provide perspective from both the K-12 and Higher Education sides of the dual credit equation.
Joe previously served as Director of Clinical Experiences in the College of Education and Human Development, where he led clinical practicum courses, student teaching, and rural education initiatives for teacher education students. Joe has also led the student-to-student Career Mentoring team at UNR who deliver frontline career education and coaching to over 22,000 students.
Education
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno, a Master's in Elementary Education from Sierra ÁùºÏ±¦µä College, and an Ed.S from the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno in Educational Leadership and Administration.
