Stories from the Class of 2020

Thank you to all of my family that has supported me on my college journey. As a first generation student, this accomplishment means so much to me. Thank you to my mom who has always told me I could do anything I put my mind to! This degree is for you! Thank you dad for always supporting my dreams. I am so proud to share this milestone with my sister. !Sí se puede!

-Samantha Sinclair Leftwich

May 14th, 2020, will be the day that brings about changes for my family and I. This is the date in which I will not only graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science, Molecular Microbiology and Immunology minor, but I will also surpass the boundaries that have entrapped my family for generations.

-Dorie K. Leftwich
