Linske Garden
This area is located between the Fitzgerald Student Services and Church Fine Arts buildings and honors the late Rosella Linske, professor in the College of Education. The 16-year campus educator wrote several books that became national standards in curriculum and instruction. She retired from the College of Education in 1982. A soothing water fountain sets the tone for this peaceful garden, where Photinia shrubs, a rose bush, and perennial grasses flourish in the understory of three Raywood Ash trees. A row of rhododendrons complements the colorful tiles on the north side of the Church Fine Arts building.
