Affecting one in 5,000 male births worldwide, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a fatal genetic disorder that currently doesn’t have a cure, but published research conducted at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno School of Medicine shows promise and may lead to the eventual development of a new molecular therapeutic.
