The College of Business corporate partner continues its support for new initiatives

The College of Business at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno is proud to announce the creation of its new Logistics Program, fully funded by .

“ITS Logistics has been an incredible partner with the College of Business and has hired many of our outstanding students and alumni as they have built their business,” Greg Mosier, dean of the College of Business, said. “This program will take our partnership to an even higher level as we provide a degree with industry-specific knowledge to our students seeking a career in logistics.”

ITS Logistics has been a corporate partner of the College since 2017 and was named the College of Business’ Corporate Partner of the Year in 2020. It is one of the leading employers of graduates in the College.

“Our University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno is one of the very best in the country,” Mike Crawford, president of Integrated National Capacity at ITS Logistics, said. “The logistics and supply chain industry is one of the best and most exciting fields.”

The Logistics Program will offer students both new curriculum and experiential learning opportunities to help showcase the career paths available to professionals in these industries.

“ITS Logistics is committed to improving the quality of life within our communities,” Crawford said. “So, this is a no-brainer for us, and we are honored to move this program forward.”

The Logistics Program is one of four new industry-focused programs available to all students at the University. New programs in sports management, real estate and insurance and risk management have been independently funded through donor gifts and private support.

By forging partnerships with industry leaders in the community, the College strives to cultivate robust learning experiences and create a direct talent pipeline between its students and a plethora of job opportunities in their respective industries throughout the state of ÁùºÏ±¦µä and beyond.
