This academic year has proven to be an especially challenging one, but despite unprecedented obstacles, many College of Liberal Arts students, faculty and staff have been recognized with notable awards. University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno awards, College-level awards, community-recognized awards, national endowments, fellowships and the like, are graciously recognizing extraordinary students, faculty and staff for the outstanding work they do every day.

"Given the significant challenges of this semester, our awards ceremony on May 11 was especially meaningful," College of Liberal Arts Dean Debra Moddelmog said. "The successes of our award recipients this year are even more impressive given that they were able to continue their excellent work during this stressful time of constant change and uncertainty. We are extremely proud of all our award recipients. They have demonstrated persistence, resilience, creativity, intellectual flexibility, and a high level of achievement; and they thus represent the very best of who we are as a College."
