The InkHeads Printmaking Group, a University of ϱ, Reno student and alumni art club, will host a "creepception" from 5 to 8 p.m., Oct. 29, in conjunction with its Second Annual Halloween Art Show and Sale, "Haunted," held at l'gallery, a University student owned art gallery that opened this summer at 720 Tahoe St. in downtown Reno.

The "Haunted" reception is an evening of themed art, fun and costumes, where guests are encouraged to dress in their best zombie or Halloween attire. After the reception, visitors are invited to join in the festivities of the Fourth Annual Reno Zombie Crawl. InkHeads is fundraising to attend the SGC International Printmaking Conference in New Orleans, La., in March 2012. A portion of art sold at the event will go directly to InkHeads to help members attend the conference.

The "Haunted" exhibition runs now through Nov. 13. L'gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participating artists include: Alana Berglund, Kaitlin Bryson, Ashlea Clark, Devon Ford, Andy Gallian, Jesse Green, Rachel Kaiser, Eunkang Koh (associate professor of art), Miwah Lee, Martex Mitchell, Lynsey Nelson, Leslie Robinson, Joe Van Alstyne, and more.

InkHeads is a group of University of ϱ, Reno, printmaking students and alumni working collaboratively to create a community-based printmaking group. Through public exhibitions and on-campus activities, InkHeads aim to connect the community to the world of printmaking. The group's members work in mediums from silk screen to intaglio to lithography and everything in between to invoke experimentation, exploration and imagination within art.
