RENO, Nev. — The Associated Students of the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno (ASUN) Department of Government Affairs, the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno’s Government Relations division will hold a Governor's State of the State Address watch party on Jan. 23. The event, which will take place in the Joe Crowley Student Union, room 323, is open to invited guests and media.
The event will include opening remarks from student and faculty leaders and a viewing of ÁùºÏ±¦µä Governor Joe Lombardo’s State of the State address. Following the address, students will be available for media interviews.
WHAT: The University’s ASUN, GSA and Government Relations division will hold a State of the State Address watch party and media interview opportunity.
WHEN: Jan. 23
- 5:15 p.m.: Opening remarks will be given from GSA, ASUN and Faculty Senate leadership.
- 5:30 p.m.: Attendees will view the State of the State Address live stream.
- 6:10 p.m.: Students will be available for interviews to comment on the address and to share their thoughts regarding the 2023 ÁùºÏ±¦µä Legislative Session.
WHERE: The viewing party and media interviews will be held in the Joe Crowley Student Union, room 323.
