RENO, Nev. – University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno President Brian Sandoval will deliver the annual State of the University address titled “Wolf Pack Rising,” on Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. in the Joe Crowley Student Union Milt Glick Ballroom.
In his address, President Sandoval will present the key themes and goals contained within “Wolf Pack Rising,” the University’s ambitious 2023-2027 strategic plan as well as the short- and long-term efforts planned to meet and exceed those goals. He will also speak to the University’s strategies to amplify the successes of its faculty, staff and students in the coming year while celebrating their current achievements.
In addition, he will provide an update on the University’s key priorities for the upcoming 2023 session of the ÁùºÏ±¦µä State Legislature and the University’s efforts to further its land-grant mission through active engagement with communities throughout ÁùºÏ±¦µä.

WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 29; 3 p.m.
MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Prior to his presentation, President Sandoval will have brief media availability 2 to 2:30 p.m., Room 423, fourth floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union. Interviews will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis. This will be the only opportunity for interviews with President Sandoval during the event. A dedicated media platform will be available near the back-middle section of the audience during the address.

PARKING: Designated media parking will be on the first floor of the Brian Whalen Parking Complex. Marked media vehicles are not permitted to park in disabled zones, red zones and no-parking zones. If you arrive without a marked vehicle, place a media badge or credentials on the dashboard.
