Dear Wolf Pack Family,

I wish to share some important news with you regarding the work of our Equal Opportunity and Title IX office. The University now has a public-facing dashboard that shares Title IX reporting statistics. The dashboard includes cases, reporting and findings data with breakdowns for open cases as well as summary statistics and findings in formal investigations. This dashboard will be a resource for everyone — including our students, faculty and staff — in tracking and assessing the effectiveness of our Equal Opportunity and Title IX reporting while remaining in legal compliance.

Over the past several months, the Equal Opportunity and Title IX office has taken proactive steps forward in meeting our campus’ needs, including additional budget resources as well as the hiring of more Title IX personnel, and evaluating any barriers to reporting and engagement in Title IX-related matters.

The University’s most important priority is the health, safety and welfare of our people, and the campus which they live, work and study. I wish to encourage the campus community to continue to share thoughts and ideas on how the University can best provide Equal Opportunity and Title IX outreach and information.

Sincere regards,

Brian Sandoval
President
