Meet Courtney Krause, a transfer student who will attend the Reynolds School next semester. She attended Butte Community College in Oroville, California for two years before transferring to the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä to prepare for her career in graphic design.
We sat down with Krause as she answered our questions on why she committed to the Reynolds School.
Why did you decide on the Reynolds School?
“When I was looking at UNR originally, I could not find a graphic design major,” she said. “I received a pamphlet in the mail and visual design was listed under journalism. After I visited the Reynolds School during ÁùºÏ±¦µä Bound, I knew it was where I wanted to be. I loved the lab equipment that was on hand, and I was able to meet some of the professors. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable.”
What are you most excited about learning when you start at the Reynolds School?
“I am most excited to learn about the visual design area,” she said. “I have some experience with visual design, but I want to further my knowledge as much as I can. I am excited to take the courses that are offered through the Reynolds School.”
