ÁùºÏ±¦µä

Mission and Services Provided to Schools

The mission of the ÁùºÏ±¦µä PBISTA Center is to provide tools, knowledge, and skills for organizations to develop and sustain systems that support safety and social emotional wellness.

History

Prior to 2014, the PBS-ÁùºÏ±¦µä project served as the program through which schools were trained in the use of positive behavior interventions and support. Historically, ÁùºÏ±¦µä has taken a bottom-up approach implementing in individual schools, with the goal of increasing awareness and support at the district and state level. In 2014, PBS-ÁùºÏ±¦µä was re-branded as one of the projects within the ÁùºÏ±¦µä PBIS Technical Assistance Center due to the awarding of the School Climate Transformation Grant-SEA (SCTG), which provided the necessary resources to allow for ongoing on-site training and technical assistance through a hierarchy of coaching on behavior and data systems.
