Abstract
This study intends to understand the generational differences in valuing career advancement opportunities (CAO) among job seekers. Currently, there is a decline in career mobility within Gen Z compared to Millennials and Gen X. Through a survey experiment based on two job advertisements that differ in their mention of CAO, we aim to understand if and how these differences affect recruitment outcomes. The study will survey individuals belonging to the Gen Z, Millennial, and Gen X cohorts. A t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression will be used to assess relationships between demographics, ranked employee benefits, and job advertisement responses.
