M.S. in Geophysics, NSL Graduate Student She/her/hers

Summary

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas where I attended UTEP, I had an internship with SCEC (Southern California Earthquake Center) and was introduced to the field of geophysics. After receiving my bachelor's in geology, I began my graduate career at UT Austin working on induced seismicity for a year. I'm now continuing my Master's in Geophysics at UNR working with Dr. Daniel Trugman in analyzing noise from the NSL's seismic stations located around the Reno area.

I'm also passionate in the effort of bettering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of geophysics, geology, and engineering. Participating in efforts behind DEI issues in the university and local community is very important to me and plays a big part in my career goals.
