Summary
After completing a BS in Geology from the University of Georgia I spent two years as a contract geologist up at Greens Creek mine off the coast of Juneau, Alaska. Greens creek is an active underground mine enriched in silver, lead, zinc, and gold hosted in a VMS/SEDEX deposit. Here I worked both in both the Surface Exploration and Underground Drilling program, helping to manage the latter since 2017. The bulk of 2019 I worked as a production geologist and in January 2020, I moved to Reno to work on a Masters Thesis under the advisement John Muntean. The project will be focused on the Bullfrog Mining district by evaluating the forming conditions of dikes and gold mineralization.
research interests
My research interests are largely focused on the geochemical and petrological relationships of ore-forming solutions.
