Summary
Desiree's interests include unraveling the histories of large silicic eruptions on the mineral scale. With Philipp Ruprecht as her advisor, her PhD work includes mapping as part of a USGS/EDMAP project in the Toquima Range, NV, and subsequent petrologic and geochemical work on the Oligocene caldera of Mt. Jefferson, NV.
