The DFS Incline Summer Pilot Program was created to provide much needed support and relief for middle school students. This community is often limited in their access to resources, which is why we thank our collaboration partner, IEF, for seeking additional opportunities to bring to Incline Village, ÁùºÏ±¦µä.
The NFGN team will be exposing students to various STEM activities, leadership building, art and culture, in a fun and inclusive environment. This program will be housed in the Parasol building located in Incline Village, ÁùºÏ±¦µä.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the amazing resources within Incline Village while also being exposed to resources and activities in The College of Education & Human Development at The University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno.
NFGN hopes to continue the DFS Incline Summer Pilot Program for every summer to come! The goal is to build a sustainable program that can comprehensively address and analyze each student’s needs in order to further enable educational success. We will accomplish this goal by providing mentorship, tutoring and equal access to resources to meet the needs of Incline students and their families.
