Poria Fajri received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Urmia University, Urmia, Iran, in 2005, an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2008, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral research associate with the NSF FREEDM Systems Center, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA.
He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno. Prior to this position he was a principal scientist at the Toyota Research Institute of North America, where he was engaged in advanced research with a main focus on electric and hybrid electric vehicles.
