ÁùºÏ±¦µä the department

Our department dates back to 1906, when the field of electrical engineering was just beginning. From telegraphs over 100 years ago to smart grid and biosensor research today, we 're on the cutting-edge of new technologies in engineering.

Mission and vision

Our mission is to provide our students with an education in electrical and biomedical engineering that includes the program objectives of depth, breadth and professionalism.

We aspire to instill in them the attitudes, values and vision that will prepare them for lifetimes of continued learning and leadership in their chosen careers.

Through research, scholarship and outreach, the EBME department strives to generate new knowledge and technology for the benefit of the state of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, the nation and beyond.
