Ecohydrology | Environmental Science
Outstanding Senior
The Outstanding Senior Award recognizes graduating students who have excelled academically and have improved leadership in our College.
Stefan McLin earned dual bachelor’s degrees in ecohydrology and environmental science, with an emphasis in soil biogeochemistry. He credits the many dedicated faculty and colleagues in the program for inspiring him and cultivating his passion for environmental sciences. In addition to his academic pursuits, he co-founded and was elected vice president of the University’s Hockey Club, and he worked three internships in water treatment and water research. As a graduate student, he will continue his research in environmental sciences and will be working full time at a hydrogeology consulting firm, BESST Inc. Stefan says, "There has been significant love and support from my family. And I cannot forget a great group of friends supporting my sanity through it all with skiing, hockey, biking and exploring what the great Sierras have to offer. I am honored to be recognized amongst a graduating class teeming with talent, dedication, and hard work. Go Pack."
