Environmental and Resource Economists focus on interactions between the economy and the environment. Topics include society’s use and conservation of renewable and non-renewable resources. the value of ecosystem goods and services to society, the economics of climate change, development of market-based and other economic strategies for environmental protection, international and regional economic issues associated with distribution effects from environmental and natural resource policy; energy economics; water quantity, quality and distribution, economics of invasive species, and more.
