Artist’s statement
I strive to process my perception of the natural world through art, in an effort to portray patterns of growth. I aim to include more contemporary mediums and stylistic practices in my work in order to accurately express my feelings about the subject matter. The viewer should note the use of linear repetition and structure, fine detail and the focus on color. I hope the viewer of my work feels with deep feeling the understanding of, love for and connection with the natural world I feel so rooted in.
