Ninth Street Hill
One of the earliest areas of campus to be landscaped, Ninth St. Hill sports some of the biggest trees on campus, which tower over a spacious, sloping lawn, giving the south edge of campus a verdant, park-like feel, in striking contrast to the neon-lit casinos to the south that can be seen from the grassy hill. Several ÁùºÏ±¦µä Big Trees grow on the Ninth Street hill, the biggest examples of their species in the state: a Green Ash, a Spanish Fir, and a White Spruce.
