2,382: Resignations

Classified employees of the University are expected to give at least two weeks’ notice, in writing, when resigning. A resignation notice may be given in writing, via email or submitted within Workday. Once an employee’s written resignation is accepted by the appointing authority, the employee may not revoke the resignation, regardless of the effective date set forth in it, if three or more working days have elapsed since its acceptance, unless the appointing authority approves the revocation.
